2. Scarecrow Making Contest
The Arbors at Stoughton invites any business, club or organization to submit an entry into their Scarecrow Making Contest. Entries must be checked in at the The Arbors at Stoughton by noon on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Overeaters Anonymous meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Wales French Room of the Stoughton Public Library; the LVM-Stoughton Conversation Class meets at 10 a.m. in the conference room; and the "Honorable Menschen" Reading Group meets at noon in the Wales French Room.

5. Looking Ahead: Life Teen Seeks Donations
Life Teen and Edge programs around the globe will unite for the 4th annual Global Life Night and Service Project called "Give It Away Now! - The Oh, Baby! Edition."
Stoughton Life Teen invites the public to drop off baby items to boxes at the entrances of Immaculate Conception Church on Sunday, Sept. 25. They are having a baby shower to collect essential items to help mothers and their babies at Friends of the Unborn pregnancy center in Quincy.
