1. Town seeking applicants for custodial position
The town of Stoughton is looking for an individual to fill a custodial position at the Stoughton Public Library. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience in custodial services. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the building and grounds, as well as various maintenance and repair tasks.
Interested candidates are asked to submit a resume to Martin McNamara, Director of Human Resources (10 Pearl Street, Stoughton, MA or mmcnamara@stoughton-ma.gov) by no later than March 18.
2. Play Laser Tag at Kidsports
Come play some laser tag at Kidsports in Stoughton Friday night in their new laser tag arena from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and receive 5 frames of bowling--free. The cost of laser tag is $10, which includes general admission and the five frames of bowling. No coupon necessary.
3. Dining Tip: March Lunch Specials at Beantown Diner (593 Washington Street)
On Fridays in March enjoy baked haddock with rice and veggies for $8.99. Other lunch specials include American chop suey (Monday); roasted chicken with potatoes (Tuesday); turkey tips with rice and veggies (Wednesday); and boiled dinner (Thursday). The American chop suey is $5.99; the other specials are $7.99.
4. Looking Ahead (Part I): Party All Night Long Fundraiser March 19
On Saturday, March 19, Party All Night Long will be hosting a "March Madness Fundraiser" to help defray costs for the annual all-night graduation party for the Stoughton High graduating class.
The fundraising event will be held at Club Luis de Cameos (76 Porter Street) from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. There will be appetizers, desserts, raffles and more, including the chance to win $3,000!
The cost is $20 per person. Party All Night Long asks that those planning to attend also bring an item to donate to the food pantries in town.
5. Looking Ahead (part II): Black Knight Classic Charity Golf Tournament in June

The Stoughton High School golf program is excited to announce the 2011 Black Knight Golf Classic, a charity golf event to support the boys and girls of the Black Knight golf team on Saturday June 11, 2011 at Lakeville CC in Lakeville!
The day will kick off at 11:00 a.m. with registration followed at 12:00 p.m. with a 4 person scramble tournament. The tax deductible registration fee of $125 includes player gifts, golf, cart, a catered dinner, prizes, and plenty of fun activities.
