1. Summer Dance Party at San John Filarmonica

The Joe Kidd Band and 24 South will perform at a summer dance party at the San John Filarmonica, 845 Washington Street at 8 p.m. Admission is $5.

2. Vacation Bible School at Faith Baptist Church

Faith Baptist Church will host a Vacation Bible School from July 18-22. Call the church today at 781-344-1890 for more information and to register.

3. Stoughton Public Library happenings

From 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Overeater’s Anonymous will meet; and from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. the Literacy Volunteers are holding a Conversation Class.

4. FY2012 tax relief program for Seniors

The FY2012 tax relief program application deadline is July 31, 2011. The program allows Stoughton homeowners who are 60 years and older, the opportunity to earn up to a $750 property tax abatement by working up to 93 hours in one of the town departments.

5. Volunteers needed!
