Dedham Police: Stoughton Woman Sold Drugs at Work

Theresa Foley of Stoughton was arrested Friday afternoon after a two-week investigation by Dedham Police.

Dedham Police arrested 42-year-old Theresa Foley, of Stoughton, Friday afternoon for allegedly selling drugs in the parking lot of Dedham Medical, where she worked.

Foley was released on bail Monday after her arraignment, police said.

Det. Robert Walsh of the Dedham Police Department told Patch that they received an anonymous call earlier this month that Foley was selling drugs out of her car during her lunch hour. She worked two days a week at the Dedham office and two days a week at the Norwood office, Walsh said.

Foley was seen by drug enforcement officers selling drugs to as many as six people during her lunch hour, Walsh said.

Police observed her in both Dedham and Norwood for a total of five times, the detective said.

Dedham Medical fully cooperated and was "understanding" with police throughout the two-week investigation, Walsh said, adding that he had no information that Foley was using drugs while at work.

On Friday, police said they witnessed her sell drugs to John Concree, 47 of Norwood.

Police had obtained a search warrant for Foley's car, and according to a police report, detectives found nine small bags containing what they tested as three grams of heroin, a mirror with brown residue, syringes, scissors and straws in threee-inch lengths.

Foley was charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, distribution of a class A substance, conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws and possession of a class A drug in a school zone. Walsh said she was within 1,000 feet of St. Sebastian School in Nedham.

Concree, the man police said bought off Foley on Friday, was charged with possession of a class A substance and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
