This poll continued a “Best Of” series that allows readers to vote for their favorite businesses and places in Stoughton.
In what quickly became a two-horse race, Giovann won, receiving 49-percent of the vote. Trilogy Salon at Cobb’s Corner came in second, finishing with 38-percent of the vote. Giovann and Trilogy went back-and-forth all week, alternating between the top two spots.
The poll opened Monday morning and closed Friday morning. Almost 2,500 votes were cast and nearly 100 more left comments on the website, on Facebook, or through email.
Customers praised both salons for their quality of the work, friendliness of the staff and overall atmosphere.
“Not only is it a great place to go get your hair done, it’s a great place to work. Giovann Salon uses the best professional products the industry has to offer. We are a strong team, we work together to support the salon and our community,” Lisa Areniello of Giovann Salon wrote in a comment on Stoughton Patch. “We love serving the Stoughton residents. Most of all we are grateful for the support of our loyal clients. We continue to strive to be the best at servicing our clients and community.”
“All of us at Trilogy feel so honored to be considered for "Best Women's Hair Salon in Stoughton"! We are celebrating our third anniversary in business this month and we feel so blessed to have received such wonderful comments and support,” Kerry Roby of Triolgy Salon wrote in a comment on Stoughton Patch. “Thank you so much to all of our fantastic clients! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and talented staff, without them, Trilogy salon would not be the upbeat great environment that it is.”
