Be Part of the Stoughton Public Library's 2012 Summer Reading Program

Registration for the children's program and teen program starts Thursday, June 28 at the Library.

 

Stoughton residents can register for the Summer Reading Programs at the Stoughton Public Library, starting Thursday, June 28.

The opening registration period is Thursday, June 28 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., and is followed by a performance by Peg's Puppets at 3 p.m.

Students up to grade 6 can register for the children's program. The theme this year is “Dream Big, Read!." Students in grades 6-12 can register for the teen program. The theme of this program is "Own the Night."

Students in grade 6 can register for both programs.

Both programs offer reading incentives and include a number of extra-curricular activities like "Arts in the Park," hip-hop dance lessons, crafts, storytime and zumba for the children's program and zumba, karate, crafts and special Thursday evening events ("A Psychic Evening," ghost hunting and zombie make-up workshop) for the teen program.

If you miss Thursday's signup period, you can still signup until the end of the month.
