Afternoon Edition: Whiplash, Fundraisers and Debates

Welcome to "About Town with Mark Snyder," a column that will keep you up to the minute with what's what, who's who and what's going on around town. If you see or hear something we could use here, let us know by sending an e-mail to pmpco@aol.com.

EASY ACCESS TO WHIPLASH: "We are soooo excited to be at the Whiplash in Stoughton this Saturday, March 12th," says Janie Dulong, lead singer of the Easy Access Band, and a fitness instructor at Gold's Gym in Stoughton.

The Bullion Boys start the night off at 9 p.m. and then Easy Access will follow. Lead guitarist, Ken Licciardi and drummer Barry Forman will be jamming in both bands. The night will be solid rock and roll.

Adds Dulong, "The Whiplash has the feel of Landsdowne St. in Boston; it is a great venue with a comfortable atmosphere including a big bar, big dance floor, pool table, and of course, most important is the 'cage'. The cage will fit 4 dancers located behind the band. Too much fun. We really hope you can make it."
