GIVE A PINT, GET A POUND: There's an American Red Cross Blood Drive taking place on Friday, January 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the New England Sinai Hospital & Rehabilitation Center.

FARBER TO BE FEATURED: Stoughton's own Shirley Farber, editor and publisher of Shalom Magazine, will be featured speaker at Temple Israel in Sharon at a 10 a.m. brunch on February 12.

Farber, a journalist, reporter, publisher and educator, will tell her story about growing up in Brazil.  She will discuss the history of the Jews in Brazil, the present culture they live in, and what the future may hold for them.
