ABOUT TOWN: Don't Miss the "Murder at the Library" on Stoughton TV!

MURDER AT THE LIBRARY ENCORE: A mystery theatre presentation which took place Jan. 18 before a sold out audience at Stoughton's Town Hall is now available on DVD and can be seen on local cable TV.

"Murder at the Library," directed by realtor Fred Yaitanes and Jan Jones of the Little Theatre of Stoughton, featured a cast of familiar faces around town: Police Chief Paul Shastany, Redevelopment Authority Chairman and insurance executive Carlos Vargas; Hansen School Principal Faye Polillio; Selectwoman Cynthia Walsh; Library Director Pat Basler; Stephanie Carrara of the Town Clerk's Office; Attorney and Open Space Committee Chairman John Morton (you won’t recognize him), and yours truly Mark Snyder, About Town columnist and radio host.

The murder mystery presentation benefited SOLA (Support Our Library Association) in support of programs at the Stoughton Public Library.

Steve Innis and Stoughton Media Access Corp. (SMAC) recorded the performance and after being shown on television this past weekend, it will air again on the SMAC Public Access channel on:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 11 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m. & 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 8, at 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. & 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m.

You can find it on Comcast Channel 9 and Verizon Channel 28.
