1. Lori McKenna Releasing New Digital EP
According to her website, Stoughton singer/songwriter Lori McKenna is releasing a new digital-only EP (Extended Play) this Tuesday, Oct. 9, called "Heart Shaped Bullet Hole."
It includes six brand-new, never released songs.
Prior to "Heart Shaped Bullet Hole," McKenna released the album "Lorraine" in January of 2011.

2. Stoughton Youth Commission Holding Special Coping Group for Parents
With the recent losses of two young residents, the Stoughton Youth Commission is holding a pair of group sessions intended for parents to "share ideas and to learn skills that will help them talk to their children about grief and to gain support from others," a flyer from the Stoughton Youth Commission explains.
The two sessions will both be held on Tuesday Oct. 9 at the Youth Commission/Senior Center building at 110 Rockland St. The morning session will take place from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and the afternoon session will take place between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
3. School Committee Meeting
The Stoughton School Committee meets in the TV studio at Stoughton High at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

4. Bingo at the Senior Center
The Senior Center will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.
5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton
Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.
Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
