Mark Steyn to Speak at Ahavath Torah Congregation
Mark Steyn, international best selling author, recording artist, and leading Canadian human rights activist will speak at Ahavath Torah Congregation, 1179 Central Street, Stoughton, on Thursday, February 24 at 7:30pm. Steyn will speak about "Relighting The Lamps of Liberty: Standing Up For Freedom In A Darkening World."
Steyn's book, America Alone: The End Of The World As We Know It was a New York Times bestseller in the United States and a number one bestseller in Canada; his battles with the Canada Human Rights Commission are legendary and are explained in his book Lights Out: Islam, Free Speech And The Twilight Of The West.
Steyn is a visiting fellow of Hillsdale College and a popular guest host of The Rush Limbaugh Program and the cable show Hannity. In addition, his writing on politics, arts and culture can be read each week throughout much of the English-speaking world.
In the United States, his column appears in newspapers from The Washington Times to The Philadelphia Bulletin to The Orange County Register in California, as well as in Investors' Business Daily. Admission is $10 per person. A VIP Meet and Greet with Mark Steyn will be open to donors/sponsors of the event at $100 per person or $1000 per organization at 6:30pm.
