After postponing the Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony on Saturday, because of the inclement weather, the ceremony has been postponed again, as rainy weather is still in the area on Sunday.

The ceremony was originally set to take place at Faxon Park on Saturday afternoon (June 11) at 2 p.m. The makeup date was 2 p.m. on Sunday (June 12).

A new makeup date has not been announced.

Unfortunately we need to cancel the End of the Year/Bridging ceremony. 

We will work with troop leaders to schedule an alternate date to recognize all of the girls who are moving to another level in Girl Scouts. We will also try to find a location to hold a registration session before school lets out.

There is a fall registration scheduled for Saturday September 17th from 2:30-4:30 in the Wales French room at the library.  If you know of a girl who is looking to register and would like to do it before then, she or her parent should send an email to this address: stoughtongirlscouts@comcast.net.
