Basic Rights in Special Education Sept 24, 2012

  • September 19, 2012

The Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SSEPAC) is joining with Canton to present this important workshop. The Federation for Children with Special Needs will be conducting the presentation. It is designed to help parents be effective partners with their child’s school when determining eligibility for special education and making decisions regarding IEP development, implementation and monitoring. This can be a very complicated and overwhelming process and it is essential that parents know their rights for their children's education and future.  Parents as well as all community members are encouraged to attend.

Hi mom2qts,
I did get confirmation from Mrs Tucker that she will be there on Sept 24. We are also trying a new format this year with some of our PAC meetings. We want to discuss different aspects of the special education programs in Stoughton . We are anticipating lots of questions and interest from parents. Hope you are able to attend this presentation.
